2000 S500
vibration after 40mph

Hey Guys,As you may or may not know, bought my 2000 S500 in January. Had the air suspension in the front just done and went to get the tires balanced. Tire guy told me I have snow tires all around and what looks like a bent rim on one of the tires on the inside.Nothing big but it is there. Car rides smooth up until about 40mph and then I am getting a vibration. Is this due to the snow tires and bent rim or could it be something else. I am very anxious for that perfect smooth ride that I know the car is capable of. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Your bent wheel will cause the vibration. Replace it or there are places where they repair it for you. To make sure put the spare on, replacing the bent rim and see if the vibration goes away, this way you will know for sure it is the bent wheel or tires.

Good luck.

Definitely get the bent rim fixed, that could be the issue here, vibrations often are related to the rims/tires and something off in their balance.

Car
Vibrations in cases like this would tend to be the issue of a bent rim...

If you have stock wheels, its often possible to find a set , with tires, for as low as $200-300 on craigslist.

Then youll have a set of winter wheels already mounted and a new set with good wheels.
