i was at my local dealer looking around ....
while my car was in for service and noticed that a the S430 they had sitting in the showroom had cross drilled rotors and black painted calipers, it was a 2002 S430 non-sport package with 13 miles on it. Do all S Class models have cross drilled rotors and painted calipers.

Yes they do....
Brakes Dual-circuit power-assisted 4-wheel discs. Cross-drilled and internally ventilated front discs with 4-piston Brembo fixed-type calipers. Internally ventilated rear discs with dual-piston sliding calipers.

Yea the w220 and I believe the w215 both come with standard front cross drilled with black painted calipers. The rear calipers are painted black, but not cross drilled. Here's a pic of my stock rotors and my calipers painted red.
