Arrow Air filter housing needs cleaning, How to dismantle?

Removing the air cleaner and cleaning the filter housing & replacing the air filters is a simple 20 minute job, however my main housing appears to be getting gunk around some of the seams, Is there a way to dis-assemble this main body of the air filter housing to clean it?

there are some screws on the bottom of the plastic plenum, but unless the "gunk" is past the air filters, I see no need to clean it.

I have not taken it apart, so I don't know if removing the screws will allow you to get it apart.
