Transmission Vibrating ISSUE!!

I recently bought a 2000 S430 and 4 mechanics have failed me in determining a vibrating issue. It went from a bad driveshaft bearing mount to all 3 of them. Then on to a bad differential. Afterwards my rims were supposedly bent and finally bad wheel bearings. IT WAS NONE OF THESE! It is a shame how certain "Independent Mercedes Specialists" know S***T about Mercedes! My issue is a transmission issue from 2000 RPM and higher. It is obviously most noticeable when downshifting and gunning it. Is this a torque converter problem? I am in such shock how everyone of these shops pointed the finger at something else when I kept telling them to look into the transmission. Does anyone on here have any experience with my problem? What to do? Thanks!

Mercedes
a common problem on these cars is a transmission mount, which is also a cheap fix...try that first

There is what is called FLEX DISK on your drive shaft that's made up of rubber bushings similar to the universal joints on American RWD cars. These do go bad and cause a lot of vibration but they are not rpm related but more speed related. IF your car vibrates in park, it's not the flex joint. IF it vibrates while driving only, there is a god chance that's what is is. You have to remove the entire lower cover to fully expost the entire driveshaft to be able to find and inspect this joint. If your Indy mechanic never took off these covers it's impossible to know what the problem is.
