03 S500 front shocks squeek

03 S500 front shocks squeek
ok, this S500 I just bought has ABC as well. pushing the fenders down you hear a 'dry squeek' sound. while driving, car also makes this noise as it goes over the road which is not perfectly smooth.
is there actually something I can oil or I'm SOL with something more internal with ABC or airmatic? car is not droppinmg when parked so the shocks are fine.

I doubt its the shocks.. more than likely you need some new front lower ball joints.. have someone take a look at them or if you know what they are, grab a flashlight and have a look..

awesome, I forgot all about the control arms and ball joints..... all I could think oif was the airmatic or in my case the ABC so forgot about other things. I'll have them take a look at it and hopefully a handfull of grease could do it, or worse those other parts are much much cheaper than shocks
