radio issuse!!!
i got a 05 s500 and my radio somtimes turns off while im driving and i cant turn it on i got to wait until it turns on ....clock resets itself..idk what the problem is .. anyone can help me please...ps the dealer wants 6grand to fix it..trying my best to avoid the dealers thankss got ur help

Try disconnecting the battery for about 30 minutes, then reconnecting. Also see https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ml#post3682080 in case you need to use them after reconnecting the battery.
Your dealer should also consider trying re-loading your firmware before replacing the system.
Going to a good 3rd party setup, such as a Kenwood Excelon or Pioneer nav system/DVD/CD player/iPod/phone system would cost half the dealer's quote.
Also, your dealer should be able to tell you which specific component is bad. You could likely purchase it and replace it yourself for a LOT less. See the W220 S-Class Owners Start Here sticky at the top of this forum for more.
