You can gross 80k a month selling "stuff" on eBay easily but it is very difficult to net 80k a month. If it was that easy, you'd hear a lot more stories about people getting rich off of eBay. That is why there is so much controversy on this thread about these two kids and their "get rich quick ideas". In fact, there was an article in "Fortune Small Business" that explains why it is hard to make money on eBay. About the only one coming out ahead is eBay because their fees are so high. Sell or no sell, eBay gets a cut. If you sell something, they get a big cut. My brother and I run a business selling "stuff" on eBay. If I take a good day in the last month and multiply it by 365 days, hell I could claim we make over $900k a year. But that is gross sales and not every day is going to be a good day. In fact most days aren't. That is exactly what Apricotscrub did. He took two good months and muliplied it out for the whole year. The thing about eBay is you have to find a balance between what you list and what you actually sell. Most of the items you list will not sell. I'd be happy if we sell 30% of the stuff we listed. The fees for the stuff that doesn't sell becomes overhead. List too many items that don't sell and you will get killed with the eBay fees. A lot of overhead also goes into hiring people to pack and ship your stuff too.

you guys are talking as the S is nothing big...my dream is too have one of those...i currently have a w202 n dream of a clk 430... S is out of the question..be happy with what you have...because you dont kno wat you loose till you loose it...;-)dnt fight for whos better...you came here with nothing and will leave the same way...be happi for your accomplishments and live happy...and be happy and kno wat you have until its gone...

I must say I'm very impressed with some of you guys here... Driving an S-Class at 18 years old? That certainly isn't bad.
Also, I would like to know where you can make such large amounts of money quickly - I'm fairly certain that I wouldn't be able to own, or even drive, an S-Class in my lifetime.
By the way, I'm 17 and I drive a Toyota Camry (Parents Car) - so I really think some of you should think of how fortunate you are compared with other people.

idiotic boasting about things you cannot prove and ultimately do not own is why this forum is a joke compared to benzworld. "I drive an s but my dad owns it'? thats totally inane. all these teens do is ruin forums and from the looks of things they mess up the benzes they actually do get to drive. when someone calls you out you either stand and deliver or YOU'RE LYING. me I am just a 42 year old 2002 ML owner. I aspire to the s and I will own one in 3 years. it will not be brand new and probably will be an 03 s500 with 4matic unless it gets the terrible mileage that car and driver just reported in its most recent issue. thats a bit off topic but I am not bragging. just stating facts. you lying teens should just give it up. you arent impressing anyone and your lies are so transparent that you should be ashamed. but you clearly have no shame. the moderators should just delete your memberships since you add no value and do nothing but cause rants and flames to follow. its a shame this forum site is loaded with so many low rent people like this.
