Hey guys,
there is a small rubber square that covers the 'unlock' button on the rear door handle. It got old and fell off, so now the metal/button is exposed on the door handle.

Any advice for this? Will rain rust/short out the assembly? I am thinking duct tape b/c I really dont want to pay $500-1000 for a new door handle. Any advice appreciated....

Have you tried calling a breaker yard and seeing how much to just buy that piece you need? Typically a much better solution. Just a thought.
