Wierd TPMS Issue

Well replaced sensors from Tire rack after previous sensors died last week. Now I am getting the following on my 2004 s430. First time I started the vehicle with front tires 29pci and rear 32pci and on dash it is said that tire monitor will reactivate after driving for several minutes and at the same time yellow light on dashboard is on. So I drove around and panel showed that sensors could not be read. Then I went to TPS screen and pushed the reset button confirming read pressure now. next screen really startled me.

Can some one please let me know whether it's still improper calibration or main module died. I am getting this message right after confirming to read tire pressure. Message as follows "TPMS is not availabe" I need to reset message and after driving a while another message pops up stating that Tire pressure monitor is inactive. After about 3 times of turning on and off the car screen goes back to the message " Tire pressure will be displayed after driving bla bla bla" and yellow light turns on. When you reset and confirm it tells again that TPS is unavailable. Go figure....

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Go to your owner's manual and see how to activate the TPMS in the first place - not how to reset it, but how to activate it, through the multifunction display.

What brand of TPMS did you get from Tire Rack?

I just did reset my my tire pressure, but NONE of the #'s match up the 2 electronic air pressure gauges that I have. My manual gauges both say 35-36 for left rear, and MB display still says 43. Is my sensor old/getting bad...shall I get new ones from MB dealer under warranty?
I have checked the other 3 yet, but for sure going to take it in.

FYI: I changed all four sensors in July (2004 S430, 315 MHz Beru brown sensors from Tire Rack). I did the reset from the Multi-Function-Display, drove the car for a few minutes. New TPMS did not work the first time and I had to reset again. But, I have not had any problems since. During the first day, one of the readings was a little off, but after a few days, everything is fine and TPMS readings are what I get with a digital hand held tire pressure gauge.
It seems there is a bit of calibration/learning that the new sensors have to go through! Hope this helps.
