Exclamation Airmatic help!!

Hey people, ok so I have a 2001 s430 that has a few issues and alot of warning lights.... My main issue is my aimatic, I had my struts rebuilt thinking that was my issue, the car was working great for awhile but then I got the dreaded stop! Car to low!! Crap... So my next step was to change the pump since I have already checked for air line leaks. So yesterday I took off the passenger side front rim and wheel well and removed the pump, quite simple actually, the new pump is on it's way but I went out to look at the car this morning and noticed a puddle of fluid under the same front tire (passenger side) I took a look and it seems to be coming from the strut. I'm pretty upset seeing on how I just had them rebuilt but hopefully you guys can help me out thanks!!!

Yes, it's the airmatic strut on the front passenger side, it is leaking a kind of orange fluid right at the bottom

Hopefully it's nothing big, I was also wondering if there is an aftermarket alternative to the stock pump for the airmatic? I have a fealing that this oem pump I ordered will give out just as quick as the first one

The problem is not the comressor, you have a leak and until you dont fix that, you are going to burn up your compressor. Because its working overtime to fillup your airmatic system with air.

Well I'm 100% sure the pump is out but I'm starting to also think that the Benz butcher I took my struts to had no idea what he was doing. My beautiful "luxury" car is now wasting away in my garage, it's just a shame... I'll have a pic up soon of my new lowrider!! Lol

That orange fluid you're seeing could be the overflow from the coolant resevoir or some leak from the coolant system.

Maybe, it was strange because I did not see any fluid until the day after I removed the air compressor and the boot on the bottom of the strut came loose, I know it wasn't like that when I took the wheel off because that's when I checked the system for leeks.... I'm stumped on this one
