Hey guys my s430 is stalling when i accelerate and i am wondering if i need a tune up. the manual says every 5 years and i got one in 2007 and it hasnt been 5 years since but i have driven a significant number of miles since. is there anything else it could be before i go and shell out serious coin for a job that may not be neccesary?? Please help. Also.....i just changed the brakes on my car but the brake Pad Wear signal is still showing up on my dashboard. any suggestions on how to fix it?

Welcome to the forum.
You could have several problems - one, for stalling, would be the accelerator module going bad. You could also have a failing Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS). Replacement of both can be a DIY project. When you changed your brake pads, you probably did not replace the brake wear sensor. That needs to be done. You cannot re-use them.

thank you guys so much.
I did a spark plug and filter tune up at the dealer....it was expensive....but i have driven it about 90000 miles since then..i am gonna order the brake pad sensors online and how much is that acceleralor paddle?
