S500 Heat not too hot, any thoughts?
Hi guys, tried searching for heat related threads and did not find too much, hope you can help.
04' S500, the car warms up fairly quickly, however, the heat, even though warm air starts comming within 5 min or so, never gets "hot". even after 40 minutes of driving with heat set as Hi the air that come out of the vents is just warm a bit on a hot side, but not really hot. So with 20F outside on last nights drive the heat remained at Hi at max Fan for over 40 minutes and it kept the car just warm, it never got hot in the car.
Any thoughts?
Can it be the changeover valve? But according to one thread that i found on it the symptoms were not the same.

my car has the same prob, its a 02/11 (facelift model). Dealer told me its the heating valve (not sure for the english name), they did something with it, didn't replace it. Worked for 1-2 months, but now it's not working again, so I guess those need to be replaced.
