Lowenharts, brabus, lorinser, are not really worth the price, unless you are buying specifically for the style or name.. However, Auto couture rims are reasonably priced and quite good looking.

Treynor, I have seen the Renntechs on an S class. There was a guy selling them on e bay 3-4 mos. ago. I don't know if it is possible to look up old auctions.
Thay were a little loud for my taste. They were very busy with all those spokes. I wound up putting 2003 S600 standard 18" wheels on my car. They look good, are forged and weigh only 19 lbs. each. You can also get them staggered, as per MercManiac.

I personaly stay away from anything non factory. Those AMG's look just right. Understated elegance combined with brute power. That's what an S Class is all about. Anything else is just too "aftermarketish".

It has nothing to do with being secure nor self conscious. I am not the type that just settles for popular trends. I thrive on creativity and exclusiveness. If MB just followed the boring trends of the rest of the auto industry, then they wouldn't be looked up upon as "the industry measuring stick" as they are. Actually, by following the "trend", I could argue that YOU are the one who is insecure of going against the grain with your car and thay YOU are the one who worries about what people would think if you did something unique.

i mean u dont buy a 100 grand car just for (the ride) u buy if because people look at u differently, u can show off in other words
If you are buying your car just to show off, something is wrong with you dude. I can care less what people think about me. I drive my car because I love the way it rides and looks, not other people., they are not paying for it. It is my personal satisfaction.
Me, before spending money on wheels which is just looks, I would do the suspension or double exhaust.
Anyway it's your car, and you can do whatever you like with it, but my opinion on those wheels...totally getto.
