A 2003/05 W220 320CDI as a 30000/year company car replacement?

A 2003/05 W220 320CDI as a 30000/year company car replacement?
Hello everyone,
I have joined the forum as I am considering purchasing a 2003/05 W220 320CDI now that my firm are offering cash allowance for cars rather than a company lease car. I have scanned through the wealth of information linked from the stickys and also auto trader to get up to speed with as much information as I can.
For 30000 miles anually for say five years from a 80000 miles starting mileage, could anyone estimate how much a 320CDI may cost on average per year for maintenence and repair? (in the UK at a Merc independant specialist).
Also, is it financial madness to consider running a car like this as a private owner for 30000 annual business miles use for someone used to new company lease maintained cars like BMW 320d SE's/Audi A4 2.0TDi's?

Considering a w220 S320
Well, I just had a look at a 55 plate 320CDI with 100 000 on the clock. Drove nicely and everything worked. Nice condition inside/out for its age. The service history was MB with annual services at 9000/30000/50000/70000/95000 is that acceptable?
There was some chrome trim that had lifted away on the passenger door handle, is that common? Would anyone also happen to know if double glazed windows where standard on this car. I couldn't see the double glazing on this one.
