Arrow Can You Re-Apply a Removed Badge??

I want to relocate 2 of my V12 badges up a few inches, but would love not to spend the $120 it takes to purchase new ones....
Can they be re-applied after being heated and removed?
Thanks.

YES U CAN, WITH A HEAT GUN, JUST MAKE SURE NOT TO PUT TO MUCH HEAT TO IT, OR ELSE U CAN DAMAGE UR PAINT, GO EASY ON IT, SECOND UR GOING TO HAVE SOME GLUE LEFT BEHIND FROM THE EMBLEMS U CAN CLEAN IT WITH SEM-SOLVE CLEANER OR ANY GREASE REMOVER, ALSO U NEED SOME DOUBLE TAPE GET THE 3M THATS THE BEST AND MAKE SURE TO CLEAN THE SURFACE OF UR CAR AND UR EMBLEMS, U CAN CLEAN IT WITH THE SEM-SOLVE.

OR U CAN TAKE IT TO ANY BODYSHOP AND THEY ILL DO IT FOR AROUND 20-30 BUCKS THATS ALMOST WHAT U ARE GOING TO SPEND ON THE 3M DOUBLE SIDED TAPE AND THE CLEANER. THEY WILL USE THE SAME PROCESS BUT THEY HAVE EXPERIENCE, THE WONT DAMAGE UR PAINT, JUST TELL THEM WERE U WANT THEM. I WORK IN A BODYSHOP, IM A CAR PAINTER. OR AT THE MOST THEY CHARGE U 50 BECAUSE THE HAVE TO COLORSAND AND BUFF THE AREA WERE UR OLD BADGES WERE BECAUSE SOMETIMES THEY LEAVE A MARK DO TO THE SUN THAT LOOKS LIKE A WATER MARK BUT IT COULD BE FIX WITH A COLORSAND AND BUFF.

New badges from MB are $120. On Ebay they go to $199.
I have an appointment with my local, quality body shop on Monday to see what it will cost for them to do it.
They did warn me today that it could take the paint off or crack the badge.
Sounded almost like a standard liability warning.....
Keep you posted on how it turns out.

Smile There is a perfect solution!

If you are looking to re-adhere automotive emblems to your repaired or re-painted vehicle, you can go to www.adhesivetemplates.com where you can search for a precisely cut 3M adhesive replacement. If you don’t see what you need, a custom adhesive can be created by contacting Adhesive Templates at 1-888-249-3350.
