What's the best way to pass a wire (satellite radio antenna wire) through to the trunk? I'm stumped.
Thanks.

There is a tiny access at the top side of the right (as you face backward) passenger seat back. I have run wiring from the console through a channel on the driver side of the center hump, then over to the rear door, and around the wheel well to the access hole - it was a bear of a job, especially running along the hump (I did not remove the center console to do it).
The first picture shows the area behind the rear seat (I did not remove it; I used an unfolded coat hanger as a "snake" and taped the wire to it; the second photo is the area in which the wire was fed through, in the trunk (it is labeled IceLink wire in both photos).
The pics are from a '00 W220; click them to enlarge. You may find the same access in your '05.

Hey, Thanks.
I will give it a look and try it out.
Did you need to remove the carpet liner in the trunk to pass it through?

I had removed it for another purpose, so it was out of the way; however, the liner is quite stiff, and I think it would be extremely difficult to fold it back to reach the access.
