S350-2006
S350-2006 problems
Check engine light is on-Initial scan shows secondary air injection problem. workshop is telling me they need another 1.1/2 hour to pin point problem. Is this a serious problem and is there a simple fix?

It can only either be the pump, or the fuse (at least on my car). Take it to another shop. My indy shop charged me for the pump, plus 1 hour of labor. You might also need a new fuse. Should be under $500.00 for the non-AMG cars. About $700-800 for the AMG vehicles (different pump).
Good news is that it will not hurt your vehicle to drive with CEL on for this problem. The bad news is that if your car does have another problem while your CEL is on for the air injection pump, you will not be aware.
