If you can afford Brabus rims, why not buy the titanium lug nuts that are going around here

Mercedes
Yes you need aftermarket lug bolts can't use factory mb. Most larger custom wheel shops stock mb bolts. Tire shops usually don't and have to order them

tusabes - yeah i just realized that when discount tire said they were hitting the brakes, i paid a cheap $2 per lugnut but im interested in the titanium lugs, definitely sounds safer

$450 for lug bolts? Is that a joke? Thats more than $20 per lug bolt, almost Stealership prices!

No More than $4-5 per bolt is as much as Id spend.

titanium lugnuts are assinine. Sure they are a few ounces lighter, but they have little effect on reciprocating mass because they are so close to the center of the wheel. Furthermore, if you've just installed 20s, you obviously don't care too much about weight because you've just added a bunch of it.

I'd save the money for upgrading your brakes.

Gentlemen you are both right, however I would suggest turning up your dial labeled sarcasm from my above post

PS: He has a 430 so he doesn't need better brakes

To me it sounds like he already swiped his card. What do titanium "lugnuts" do differently from any other aftermarket "lugnuts"?
