1988 190E 2.3 Recently purchased a 1998 S500 second benz
Transmission
I recently purchased a 1998 S500 all the gears r strong except D. When I have the tranny in sport mode n drive I 4th no problems. When I try n use D it slips no clue how much of a problem it could be to repair. Not sure is it a easy fix or is a new tranny issue any suggestions would be great.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.

could be toast.
Although starting out by draining the trans and changing the filter and gasket
refilling to proper level may help and short of actual codes is a good place to start.
