2003 S600 Spark Plugs
The owner's manual calls for:
S600 model type 220.176 Engine 275
Spark Plug NGK IFR 6 Q-G. Gap 0.028 in (0.7mm)
NGK has the same plug gapped at .032 gap in.
Which is correct?
Buy the IFR6QG and re-gap at .028in?
Thanks

Single side
electrode spark plug. You always check the gap coming out of the box and use your spark plug gap adjustment tool to set them to factory specs.
Use a quality gapper and never pry on the center electrode.
If you don't gap them correctly to small a gap can lead to a non plasma spark and incomplete combustion. To big a gap weak spark and misfires.
A far to big gap on a high combustion ratio engine can lead to the electrode hitting the piston crown.
If new at doing it practice on an old plug and have a friend that knows what they are really doing check your homework
