w220 rotor runout!?!!!

Hi, On my front brakes, if you run your hands across your rotor from center to outside, you will feel bumps. This has messed up my pads because of un even wear. so i need new pads. Also, i will need new rotors. I thought rotors cost thousands of dollars to replace... i went on the ad on upper left hand corner, that yellow box. and looked at rotors, and saw this http://www.mymercedesparts.com/partl...layCatalogid=0

100 dollars? is that right? The rotors i have are drilled too.

I don't know about price, but both rotors and pads are meant to be replaced at the same time.

no, the pads and rotors are not meant to be replaced at the same time.

the dealer will tell you they are, but then again, they have a vested interest and a bit of a conflict there.

I believe they run about $90 each at www.parts.com, so that price is inline.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
330by32mm

vented are $67 each.
Spray them lightly according to directions
http://www.lubegard.com/~/C-205/Sque...hing+Treatment
Bed the new pads in as instructed and you should get at least 2 mirror smooth pad uses out of the new rotors.
