Off topic question for electronic gadget gurus.
From these pictures, can someone tell what sort of electronic gadget connects to the plug on the right side of the photo? For scale purpose, it is about the size of a pensile eraser with a tiny prong in the center.
The integrated NAV-TV unit also has an AUX, an IPOD, and an USB connector, the latter two not seen on the picture.
Lastly, the base of a bracket can be seen attached to the molding, most likely for an MP3 player of sorts, does anyone know the bracket manufacturer so I can purchase one and use the missing part? I would hate to make more holes in the molding.

Actually, the power source is in the IPOD proper, also in the USB cable, the left connector on both pictures is the AUX to use with any other MP3 player, such as Archos FM 20 recorder, the ZEN Vision M:60, both of which I own and use in that connector because the IPOD sucks big time.
The IPOD is ABSOLUTELY/POSITIVELY not friendly to classical music lovers, it was designed to play individual songs. For example, "ARTIST", in a classical music piece the artists most often are several individuals, plus composer, in a most simple case at least two, the composer and the interpreter.
In my opinion the best one for my purpose is the Archos FM 20 recorder, I start alphabetically with "A" and the player goes through every aria of every opera, every movement of conciertoes, etc, etc, all the way to "Z" without jumping around even once, but since it plays off the AUX the control is from the player itself not from COMAND.
