Unusual features and capabilities of the W220
A tad distracting down there though, strictly for the navigator to play with if you are in motion.
So I give you something boring to stimulate your feedback (which you might incorrectly classify as boring):
If you move the front seats the anchor points of the seat belt moves up and down in synchrony.
Also, if you have keyless go and stopped the engine, the radio will stop playing when the driver's door is opened. If you click the gearstick once before opening the door it will keep on playing ... until you lock the door from the outside.
If you very briefly tap the indicator lever (left or right) the car will blink exactly 3 times and then stop; this helps when changing lanes.
Especially the windows down feature from the key and door lock and the Remote A/C Control for the rear!
Keep posting guys, I love this thread!

With ABC, it's normal for the car to settle a bit too. If you park the car for a while (say 2 weeks), it'll sit a little low. My previous CL would bleed out almost entirely after 3 weeks. My S doesn't do this, but does sit a little lop-sided after a bit. As long as the car rights itself when you start it and the warning in the dash doesn't come on (it's obvious - dash turns red and says "STOP! car too low") you should be good. With AIRMatic, it should not settle much at all as the springs will take much of the weight off the rams.

When approaching a turn (using Navigation) Comand can zoom into to map so you can see the turn itself on a larger scale.
This can be switched on/off in Comand as follows:
Press Mute + 1 + 3 (all 3 keys at the same time) for 5 seconds while Comand is running (with or without the engine running)
Then Select COMPONENTS
then select NAVIGATION
on the next screen you see INTERSECTION ZOOM at the bottom and the button to the left of this option will switch it on/off
I'm one of those who holds their hand over the centre console to see if it's blowing....until now that is. Chicks are going to dig me so bad now.

1. While the car is still locked press the black keyless go button and hold it for a few seconds, until the indicator lights in the mirror have flashed 3 times.
2. Then release the black locking button; pull the handle and hold (do not open the door) and the windows will start opening.
Interesting, that the sun roof will re-adjust in about 1 minute, after the bulk of the hot air has disappeared. It will first close and then tilt up at the back to create an escape for hot air. I figure that the MB engineers have worked out that a fully open sun roof lets more heat in than out – after the initial escape burst.
If you open the door and close it again the car will keep the sun roof fully opened.
It must be the location of the fridge, basically inside the fuel tank, that stops it from warming up. The tank was 3/4 full.
Note that the fridge holds 2 full size champagne bottles. This is not at all to be expected. However, this is possible by the construction of the door, where the corks fit into a "bay type" widening on the inside of the door.

Ps: does someone know if you can do the same for driver side view mirror.

Thx.

On the inside of the glovebox door, there's a little compartment door that has some clips to hold a tire pressure gauge and/or pens.
