PAINT PROBLEM(REMOVED) FROM OVER COMPOUNDING POLISHING
I was using a porter cable to polish my car and somehow over-polished it with too much pressure to a point that I think the base coat is starting to appear along with the clear coat around it. It's on the hood of the car almost near the front right headlight. The color is black paint 040. I'm outside of Philly in the Main Line area. I've included a picture so you can check it out. I'm considering buying some paint and clear coat from PaintScratch.com and try to spray over it. What are your recommendations and the best thing to do?

Wow, you did that with a porter cable?
What polish were you using and what color foam pad?
I wouldn't use the paint scratch paint on that repair. It works for smaller spots, but with that burn in the "field" it will take a pro to do justice to that repair.
FWIW I've used that paint repair base/clear with great success on small repairs like rocker panels and trim. Good color match, just hard to feather in accurately on a large panel.

Ok, that's classic wool burn. Didn't know a PC could generate enough heat to even do that.
Looks like your in for a respray on the hood. Shouldn't be too bad, $500 for a decent match should cover it. Lesson learned I suppose. Ditch the wool bonnet and get a foam pad, much easier to control.
