Headlight - Auto-Leveling on Startup

My reduced fleet:
1992 300D @ 404,000km 47mpg Cnd; 1994 e420 @ 240k 28mpg Cnd; 2003 s5004m @ 285k 31mpg Cnd
A 2000 non-sport S430 w/factory xenons, Airmatic, that DOES auto level at start.
A 2001 ML320 Sport w/factory Xenons, that DOES NOT.
A 2000 non sport S500 w/factory xenons, Airmatic that DOES NOT auto level at start.
A 2007 ML350 non-sport with factory xenons, that DOES.
None of my cars have ABC.
Lets Figure This Out!
MEGA BUMP!!!

when i replace it with clear projector lamps, it doesn't. have the feature of autoleveling althought it was bosch made. then i change it to an aftermarket headliight and they got autoleveling balast/module. so yeah now i got an aftermarket headlight with original feature.

I have a 01 W163 ML55AMG with reflector xenon headlights. There are two version of headlights for the 01 W163, as they changed it from 01.09.2001. For both versions, WIS function description states that:
is in position 2, the motors are referenced. The reflectors are moved to the lowest position and then, depending on the vehicle level, moved to the correct position.
On my car, this is NOT HAPPENING, so I suspect it is a malfunction somewhere.
Motors are working, as I've managed to move them through Carsoft 7.4 HRA Activation function to High and Low position. So, may be a defective control unit (N71) or one of the sensor malfunctioning (seems more plausible, as they are more exposed to dirt / tear and wear).
I attached description from WIS for both versions (reflector up to 31.08.2001 / projector as of 01.09.2001).

My 2009 E350 Avant garde regular suspension auto-levels on start-up, but slower.
