HOWEVER.. my girlfriend wants to sleep right now LOL.. Would there be problems if i only lowered the front today and left the back? I plan on lowering the front more then the back anyway to have my front bumper angling down more. Love that kind of look. My street is a hill, and the only flat ground would be in my garage to jack the car up -__- but the AMG is in there..

Better off doing this tomorrow perhaps. But I understand the whole process now. Thanks alot classy. Also went back to feel the nut on the other side of the upper control arm, now I know what you mean hahah. I can say that I am veryyyy excited.

thats kinda funny because i actually ONLY lowered the front.. because i knew id have passengers in the back that would make up for the height, plus the only people driving the car are either my girl or me, we both weigh about 140lbs each, heres a picture of what it looks like with ONLY lowering the front.. barely noticeable with rears at stock height -

Hahah looks great. anyways in my procedure to do so, I jacked up the car but could not find the right size tool to unbolt the nut.. its getting too late so I decided to begin again tomorrow with the proper tools (if i can find any).. But looking good. What are the specs on your rims btw? Im looking for a flush look.

the rims are brabus monoblock 6, 1-piece 20x9.5 all around with 45 offsets all around, i actually was browsing craigslist one night and saw them posted so i bought them.

i just wished they were the 3-piece staggered models!!

Dammmn those are 20s? Are you having any problems after lowering? Rubbing and what not. And by the way, last night I tried moving the nut on the control arm so I could add the washers, but the nut would not even budge -__-..

yeah theyre 20s but for some reason 20s on this car looks like 17s but yeah it doesnt rub at all even with a full car load.

yeah youll need a socket wrench to unscrew the nut, i used a new cheap toothbrush i found and brushed off all the road residue before wrenching it. youll get it though its awkward to reach without airmatic raised or car jacked up.

Hahah, I did the toothbrush thing too. Cleaned the control arm a bit, doesnt hurt

Anyways, I used 2 washers on each side, because thats all I could fit.. but I'm happy with the results, and my car sits lower then before definately. I havent touched the back yet and im not liking the gap back there too, so I will do that when I have time. Is the adjustment nut in the middle of the car? I would have to go under the car am I correct? And then I would tighten the adjustment nut by about the size of a tictac(?) to make the whole thing shorter right? How much drop would this produce?
The only thing ive noticed so far is when i do turn my ABC on and raise the car, the car starts to make a loud noise.. didnt do this before.
But all in all, looking good. Thanks for the help!

And wow, now that I look at your car 20x9.5 +45 all around, ive concluded S500's wheelbase frame is so big :/ you have some pretty good offset on your rims and they still look pretty small / inside the fenders. Blehhhh, im still on stock rims but its bearable.. Looking for rims is so difficult.
