I bought a key from the MB dealer and it starts the car and the buttons work, but the keyless go function does not work. I am getting different stories on whether or not its the right key. I had the dealer order it by the VIN. Does anyone know for sure if the key I bought can be programmed or if the parts guy just ordered the wrong key.

My car is a 2006 s600 with keyless go and the key they sold me is one of those new style looking keys,
