Brake Switch

Hi Guys,

I have search around for these messages "ABS ESP BAS PLUS AIR SUSPENSION WARNING LIGHTS" for our w220 what I have found is some said brake switch is bad some said rear wheel speed sensor bad. Can any one of you tell me where is brake switch locate? something I might want to try because not that expensive. on the rear wheel speed sensor how can I tell which one is bad beside connect it Star Diagnostic? I want work on it this weekend. Thanks so much.

If its anything like the W140, it could be any of them (speed sensors). There's probably 1 on each wheel. Unless you have an oscilliscope, you may not be able to determine if its working or otherwise. As a preliminary you can test the resistance on each of them to see if there is one that is shorted or open. I know with the W140, it was the passenger side rear that was bad and I had to drill it out as it was rusted firmly into its socket.

Before hacking the system, I would first get the scan codes read to confirm that its not something else that's wrong. Using the "red car" theory is not that relaiable
