S500 Fail to Start, Temporarily?!?!
Good evening Everyone, I have had a problem with my 2004 s500 that have failed to start more frequently now. This never happens in the morning when the car is cold although after reading thread about what might be the problem it was a Crank Shaft Position censor which i have changed and still the same problem. When i turn the ignition and go to start the car it acts like if its going to start up although it fails. In very rare occasions the car after the second turn of the ignition it turns on. Now i have notice it needs at least 20 turns of the ignition to start. An ESP malfunction comes up when this happens although it disappears when the car turns on. With you all expert advise or may have had this problem is this a problem that may be the Starter of the vehicle? and if so would this pop an engine light maybe... Another other trouble shooting to get this resolved would be helpful.
PS: When i first change the CSP censor the car did not do this for about 2 weeks then it did it again very little, Now several months later it is happening more often.
