No didn't consider junk yard would prefer a new one or at least a remanufactured one so I wouldnt end up in the same situation again. Any advice and suggestions are appreciated. Also if you know of any online sites I can order from that may have the part please let me know
They usually go bad because the TCU gets contaminated with transmission oil due to a leaky connector seal plug at the transmission. TCU goes into lock mode to avoid further damage.
Replace the plug, take out the TCU and clean it with electrical cleaner. Let it dry, and do a SDS reset on the TCU. It MIGHT work, it worked for me. Alot cheaper than getting a new TCU and getting it programmed.

I had the tcm replaced car runs fine now it was located under hood on passenger side fender wall part itself was nearly 1200.00 and dealer would not even sell it to me unless they were installing and programming with part diagnostic and programming cost me nearly 1700. Thanks to all for assistance

pretty much you're screwed because anybody that wants to buy a transmission control module is going to have to get it from the dealership you can't just buy anyone that has to be coded to your VIN of your car and they won't sell it just to you it has to be a certified Mercedes-Benz mechanic

Depends upon the year and the model, but it probably is not a six-speed.
From the W220 Wiki:
W220’s have two types of Transmissions, a five-speed (722.6) (actually five forward and one reverse gears) and a seven-speed (722.9) (actually seven forward and two reverse gears).
The seven-speed (722.9) is also referred to as NAG 2 {Neues Automatische Getriebe 2} New Automatic Gearbox 2 or 7G-Tronic.
Some differences between the 722.6 (5 speed) and 722.9 (7 speed) are discussed in the Benz World Encyclopedia. In short, the 722.6 appears to be more robust and was retained in the 4Matic when M-B went to the 722.9 in the RWD W220 from 2004 and on.

so car doesnt even start?
is your question that you dont know where to start?
random info that comes to mind to open pan or drain fluid to investigate more?
u sure it doesn't have drain and fill plug somewhere, it could be hidden. call up mb dealer and just ask them lol it wont cost anything they have the diagrams
if you drain and figure it out, just replace what comes out, i am sick of measuring things i eyeball everything now haha
maybe the whole valve body and conductor plate and solenoids can be just gotten second hand cheap?
edit
looks like the 6 solenoids are not too hard to replace
