HEy everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had a pictures of a S-class with the designo package. Especially the silver edition i have never really seen good pcitures of it.

I am waiting for a Launch Addtion Designo Silver SL 500 to arrive. It should be here mid March. The picture in the thread referenced above looks green. My dealer who has seen a Designo Silver S Class said he doesn't remember seeing any green. I guess the light conditions and background change the appearance quite a bit. The 2002 S Class brochure has a paint chip and a photo of the Silver Designo. It appears more tan than silver.

I've had the pleasure of seeing a designo silver S500 in person and all I can say is that it's stunning. The closest description I can give is that it's inbetween brilliant silver and desert silver, but moreso brilliant silver. Under the right light conditions, you can see a rainbow of hues.
Either way, you can't mistaken the color. It is definitely one of a kind.. not worth the $10k premium tho heh.
