It amazes me every time
god damn do the 600/65/designo cars have ridiculous interiors.
My car sits outside, so I condition the leather quite a bit, and yet every time I'm amazed at just how much leather is in these things. It seems like I go through half a bottle of Zaino Z10 leather conditioner each time. Everywhere you look is wrapped in leather or alcantara or wood.
While I'd still argue bentleys and such are a step up, for the money these things go for nowadays, it really is a world class interior.
Trouble now is that I'm spoiled. Don't think I could ever go back to a standard plastic/vinyl interior, 221 or otherwise.
Guys with the standard interior...all I can say is...upgrade

MB 2003 S600. Volvo 2003 XC70.
Need advice for leather care.
Oliver,
After fixed all major issues in my S600, I'm gonna to do some interior detailing. Don't know what is the best to treat the leather in S600.
Why you are using Zaino Z10 leather conditioner?
I went to local store and got Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner, is this good one ?
Used Armor Leather Care for my Volvo before. But think I should use something better for S600.
Really want the leather last and in top condition, smells good too.
Please educate me and thanks for all advice.

I like zaino because it absorbs quickly and easily, has some uv protection, smells good, and doesn't leave the leather shiny or greasy. You can buff it dry or just leave it. Best part, its only about $10.
I don't have any experience with meguiars. My leather looks great to be honest.
Leatherique is a popular product if you need more serious restoration but I find the process a bit annoying for regular use.
I believe a lot of people like griots and leathermaster as well.
Zaino works for me so I've found no reason to switch

2005 CLK500 cab, 2004 S600 designo mocha
Aren't these cars amazing?
I have the S600 with Designo Mocha package, the caramel interior just amazes me every time I get in the car.
As mentioned in previous threads, I use Leatherique, and love it! However, it's very expensive. Results are a great though!
I have also tried Lexol, but did not have good results at all. I think I will try Zaino Z10 as mentioned by Oliverk, simply to compare with Leatherique and the price is MUCH better.
Oliverk, which Designo package do you have? Graphite, Mocha, ...?

I have the mocha as well.
I think you will like the zaino. Its not the process of leatherique and the results are not as astounding, but for regular conditioning, its great.

Nice sharing. It's sooooo beautiful and like brand new.
MB are really doing the S600 interior on top notch. The leather and wood trim can last very long.
All people sit in my car were amazed about how flawless the interior is. And they couldn't believe it's a 9 years old car.

the brown leather is a designo package, but the full leather is offered in the 600/65 and in other designo colors.
those Designo interiors look utterly ****
I've been using Cole Haan shoe cream, got the tip from my bud who uses Coach handbag cream.
There is simply nothing (NOTHING!) like coming out to the car after it's been sitting basking in the sun and getting into it.
I'll just sit there for a second, letting the eu de AWESOME absorb into my pores for a few moments. The odiferous auroma overwhelms and astounds, it's hot and buttery and oily and sensual.
It is quite literally intoxicating... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
