Rear A/C

Hi Everyone, My 2002 S430 seems a bit weird. When I set the fan speed to the MAX the rear doesn't seem to be blowing at all. Does anyone have this problem or is this normal?

Do you have the optional rear AC system with its own controller?
I don't and the front AC is pretty good, back is a little weak, but I have to check to see how the back vents are set. That helps to set the vents correctly to blow maximum air.
I have an early 2000, which is known to have weak AC systems. Mine isn't bad enough to have MB tear apart the dash and put in upgraded controller, compressor, and posssibly create new problems, squeaks and rattles. And I'm in FL---HOT!

yeah I don't have the optional climate control for the back. And when it's I turn it FULL BLAST the back are soooo weak that you can barely feel them.

a 2002 definitely shouldn't be that way. I would get it checked out. And maybe check in the owners manual to see if you have the vents set right. I find that setting them to the position of 1 square marker provides more air than the setting with 2 squares. good luck.
