Voice Recognition Source Coding

Hello,
I am working on a 2002 S430. I have installed the bluetooth and I am now deciding upon whether to install voice recognition. My uncertainties: After installing the voice recognition, do I need to have source coding performed? I have already had source coding performed for the telephone and I have a feeling I do not need source coding for voice recognition but I am not sure. Do I need fuse f64? ( I have read on this site that a member stated that f64 is needed for voice control.) I have a very good feeling that I do not. Additionally, I am following the installation from the phone bulletin for this and appears that I need to: connect the d pin connector from the vehicle harness to the VRM and then complete a daisy chain with the D2B optical cables, mount the bracket holding the VRM into place, and finally installing the PTT lever on the right hand side of the steering wheel column

I don't know on a D2B car if it needs it or not, but I would say it is safe to assume yes. MOST definitely needs it.
