CD Changer?

So I am geting the wonderful no magazine error screen, I am contemplating what I should do. I could remove it and get a replacement from the dealership, or are there other possibilities? I was going to buy myself the cartronics module for my birthday unfortunately the shutdown before my birth day. I have a 2002 S430 with voice control but no phonkit installed.

I am a little unsure of buying used electronics on ebay, but that is a very good suggestion. I will most deffinitely check ebay

A re-manufactured set from the dealer is around $400 and they want yours in exchange. A real brand new is at much higher price, say 700-800.

A set on ebay can be anything between 120 - 300.

Look around at local electronic shops, some might rebuild or know someone to rebuild your own set for around 300, if so it should come with a 6 month - 1 year warranty.

I will look into your suggestions trombone! When I asked the dealership regarding the remanufactured unit I believe he quotes 300-400 but that was with labor to remove the old and install the new one
