PSE, Soft Close, SRS
I have been reading about soft close, actuator and hose leaks and decided to tackle my problem: I have (my wife has) a S350 2006 w220. A couple of years after we bought the MB the trunk soft close did not work any moore. Did not worry just closed the trunk harder. Then 6 months ago driver door soft close stopped working. No big deal, just closed the door all the way. A week ago took the car to the dealer to have rear breaks redone. When we got the car back the trunk did not open without using the manual key. Doors did not lock with remote key nor from inside the car buttons. Earlier I had herd a hiss from the leaking trunk lock actuator and the driver's door. I figured I finally burnt the PSE pump. opend up marked lines bought a new pump OES 220 800 12 48 W0133-1856892. While waiting for the pump I tried to figure out which tubes went to which actuator by using pressurized air with no results. Hope I did not mess up the actuator diaphrams. Fixed the trunk actuator with epoxy. Installed the new pump. Now the fun started. (reset by removing yellow 20 amp fuse and disconnected battery) also used reset on dash with 3 second depress and approval of factory settings. New pump stops nicely after closing the doors. Now trunk and rear door soft close works exept the handle in the trunk comes out when trunk closes and then goes in after a few seconds. When I try drivers side soft close I hear a hiss on Passanger side door and the Passanger side door locks. The same thing happens with passanger side door soft close. The driver side lock closes and a hissing sound is heardon driver side. Neither front door soft close works now. The lumbar supports on the front seats stopped working also. I started the car and drove it out of the garage. The SRS warning light came on. The light for the passanger seat srs is constantly on next to the shifter. I do not have a repair manual nor any testers. Maybe there is still hope for me if a nice and smart person could guide me to the right steps for the repair. I know that the door actuator replacement is not so easy. If I only knew where each of the lettered ports go to it would maybe help and I could cap the ports with leaking lines/actuators. I know that port SK tube has hardly any resistance of vac nor pressure, but I do not know what it is controlling.
Is there a way to reset the SRS ?
Thank You for any help.

Took the car to MB dealer. Got following estimate after they diagnosed the car: Replace both front door Actuators $2400, Replace sensor for passanger seat to fix SRS warning $1100, Replace actuator for passanger side front seat adjustment buttons $838. No mention of lumbar supports that do not work either.
Any hint where I can find a repair manual for w220 350S 2006 that also has all info of the PSE including diagrams.

PSE, Soft Close, SRS
Thank You Paultyk.
Took the car to the dealer they reprogrammed the PSE and now the lumbar supports and trunk dissapearing handle works. The tech. was nice and advised me how to replace the leaking door actuators, the seat adjustment actuator and the sensor inside the front passanger seat to fix the SRS warning light. They told me that it will be quite time consuming. I will start with the seat and then go to the doors.
Thanks again

Doors are really tricky, to remove actuator you have to remove almost everything, and then the rivets and drilling, time consuming. That is why they charge so much to replace it.

It will be a big help for all of us

Yes I will do that after I tackle my Passenger seat problems.
I removed the Front passenger seat. Was not as easy as I thought it would be because the seat was stuck in the rear position. After buying some smaller tools and an offset 3/8" wrench (worked on the TORX screw) from Advanced Auto Parts I was able to remove the seat. Now the seat sits in a guest bedroom floor. Everything looks like brand new. How could two things break at the same time. MB dealer says things happen. I started to go back in my mind and looked at fuses. I saw that I miss fuse #66. I might have removed it when I replaced the VAC/Pressure pump for soft close. I do not know if I need it because our S350 W220 does not have seat heaters, coolers or ventilation. I can drag the seat back to the car and hook it up before buying expensive parts but it would help if someone would know and tell me, hey dude you took your seat out for nothing. So do i need fuse # 66 ???

Passanger Seat Adjustment Fuses
Could not wait for a thread answer. Put the seat back (not bolted in yet) put a 20amp fuse in slot #66, and the seat adjustments work.
SRS still on. Seems like I have to do some thinking and this time it seems that I might have to change the front passenger seat recognition sensor. The problem is.. I lost the trust in the dealers' $170 diagnostic. Now shopping for a right diagnostic tool so I can verify the fault codes and after repairs reset them.

I had the same problem and I fixed by myself. To fixed you have to take the seat off. I purchesed the Sensor from e-bay for $178
Removing Passenger Seat SRS Fix
I have to fix the SRS fault in my S500. I will purchase a Sensor on Ebay however I would like to know where you found the schematics to remove your seat as well as to locate the sensor.
Is it obvious to see. Can the sensor be repaired, from what I have seen it is a simple resistor/diode, Pix will help but I will take written directions.
Thanks much.
