Climate control - left right temperature difference
Climate control - left right temperature difference
Hi all
bought my car (s350L 2005 in Dubai) six months ago..the ac was problematic since beginning as the driver side (left side) threw hot air or a mix of it. then i set temperature to low on both side. the situation improved since as the overall temperature is okay. SOmetime however, it is not cold enough. Also i noticed that the right side is now throwing the air with hot mix (temperature on right middle vent is less cold than left one). right door vent seems ok. also the central/middle upper vent (the one above the right and left middle vents) seems ok.
i recently checked error codes ...it shows error code 1455 which is left defroster nozzle flap actuator motor.
ac pressure seems ok (NR 07; standby 7 bar, working 12-14 bar)
also NR 01 (in car temperatutre as per a post) reads 0 which is weird
i have also checked forum; potential problem is changeover valve [https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...rol-valve.html very nice post with DIY detaol] or sun sensor.
any ideas before going to mechanic.
regards
