Hi,

I have a 2004 S600L with an analogue TV tuner. Obviously it doesn’t work anymore. I asked the dealer if they can replace the magic box with a digital one and they told me they have discontinued the digital receiver due to lack of demand !? *bizarre*.

They said to speak to a third party after market car audio specialist ?!

So, two questions;
1) Is that true, is the MB digital tuner box discontinued ? Are they available on ebay, etc ? Is it a part number minefield, or is it easy to find them and get the right one for my car ?

2) If I can’t buy a MB original one, Any recommendations on who to speak to, to get the TV tuner upgraded to digital? Is there a third party direct replacement, or am I looking as a gaffer taped solution? ;-)

Was looking myself. I dont know about the dealers not doing em anymore. Officially a dealer told me it would be far to expensive to do & I've the potential complication of saor view. www.saorview.ie

Anyway I did see a digital upgrade on www.ebay.de that was a pull from some guys s class.
