The benz got treated today to 2 new front tyres & new rear pads. (only 1 sensor on rear drivers side, fyi) & I learned the front pads are 4x each wheel, so yes that's 8 pads required for the front axle, news to me, just mentioning it in case anyone (like i didn't) doesn't know & buys the 'set' for the front from mintex which only came with 4 pads, supposed to do the front axle.

anyway 2 or 3 snaps attached.

my tyres are
245/45/18 front
265/40/18 rear

didn't notice that & almost ordered 4 of the same.

Don't see your pictures and mine front only have 2 pads each wheel.

Hi Howard,

All European model S600TT's have the huge 8-piston / 4-pad calipers and 360mm rotors (I think that's what you call discs, isn't it?)

hi Nick, thanks for confirming, even though the mechanic showed me, much to his surprise too I was beginning to doubt it! after deleting my pics of the front now when the wheel was off, it's some set of calipers on the front!

See the pictures now and really want them. Huge calipers and rotors.
I guess they are the ones on S65.
