yes.
As I noted in the other thread, the car can drop maybe 1/4 to 1/2" (8-13mm) due to temperature drops.
the car does not drop to the extent you've described due to a weather issue.
Furthermore, if the car took 20 minutes to get back to height, you have a leak.
So, every minute you drive the car, the compressor will need to run longer and will eventually burn itself out.
Not to mention, this leak won't improve itself, but will rather likely get worse meaning the car will drop faster and after a while the compressor won't keep up and the car will drop while running.
You need to get this fixed...and thats gonna cost a good bit of cash...which is the reason children with limited income should not own cars of this nature.

I wont use the car for a while for sure. Is there any danger to the compressor letting the
car parked ? Or is better to tow the car to the garage or can i take the risk to drive it to
the garage (imagine the airmatic fell again on the road) the garage is far so i hope
everything will hold on to them .

Poor statement oliver. Strutmasters is perfectly fine.

Good luck Ely, it's not that hard to do the conversion yourself.
I've done this conversion with hand tools(just a socket and allen set,did not need an impact gun) numerous times when I worked for a small Benz shop in my area.
Instead of repairing AirMatic, remove the four struts and air compressor(passenger side, behind the front bumper, access it from under the car) then sell them online while they're operable.
Take it one step at a time and do all the work to your car in on order of importance.

Understood Oliver, but, in Strutmasters' defense, the quality of their struts have been revised and any and all issues I had with the first batch that I purchased back in 2009 have since been rectified at no cost to me.

The best deal that I know of is Shell ATF 134 at about $5/quart from a distributor. This fluid is Mercedes-approved, meeting the latest 236-14 spec. You will need to buy or make a dipstick to check the fluid level.
I prefer to flush the transmission completely. My procedure is:
1) Open the line to the cooler, put a hose on the line to run the fluid into a suitable catch container. Crank the engine and let idle until the fluid stops flowing - stop the engine immediately.
2) Remove transmission pan, clean everything, replace filter and gasket, replace pan.
3) Add as much fluid as you drained. Start engine, let idle until fluid stops flowing.
4) Repeat step 3) until you have drained about 14 quarts. Reconnect line, fill transmission until the fluid level is correct.
5) Check for leaks. Drive car for a few hundred miles check for leaks and check fluid level.
The proper fluid level at 77 deg F is 10 to 20 mm from the bottom of the pan; at 176 deg F is 55 to 65 mm from the bottom of the pan.
