Unhappy Mercedes 220 body S600 2005

Two parts question perhaps.
My car flashes yellow front lights, once, when the car has not been started or the doors been opened for three or four few days, why does it do that? I’ve meant to ask for the longest time.

I hardly drive the car, although it’s started every few days.
Also, today, the car battery was totally dead, however, on the third try, the car charger got it going at engine start setting, but the Ammeter never showed reading.
Unplugged the charger and the car started, re-connected the charger, still no Ammeter reading.
Tonight everything seems to be fine with the car, let’s see if it starts tomorrow.
What gives??????

You might want to have the battery checked. These cars do some really weird stuff when the batteries are on their way out.

This OEM battery is only 30 months old, weak perhaps for lack of use,
it is the second time the bat... goes dead.
