2002 S500 N1111 Sound error 0x01F8

So, I just finally finished fixing almost everything on the car. New airmatic control module, new compressor, etc etc etc. Only two things left are a SRS light , Side mirror flashers need replacing but the big one is the Radio. IT DOESNT WORK

I pulled the battery, clear codes, I have no idea were else to look. Im getting code N1111 0x01F8 which is supposedly the voice unit .... Where do I find this module and fiber junction point. I need my radio to work, any help out there?, silence drives me

The fiber optic connection prone malfunction is under the CD changer unit.

Remove the whole unit ( a little work on the screws) disconnect and reconnect the optic cable. Good chance it helps.
(It did help met to resolve the same problem).
Good luck

fixed but with sacrifice. I think I lost my telephone and VCS module to get it back working. after examining the route the VCS unit seems to be bad. so I took out that section, linked the changer directly to the amp, and everything is good. now to hunt for a VCS Module. I want that back
