in an earlier performance parts catalog i saw a rb tech lowering kit for around $400 for the w220. it wasn't featured in the most recent catalog but i assume it should still be available..

When I asked the dealship about lowering they said that they could drop it with their computer. However, the problem you will run into is the camber. The inside of your tires will wear out quickly if you do not find something to adjust the camber. The lowering kit may account for that but I just wanted to give you a head up.

It seems that al cars with airmatic can be lowered by extending the airmatic sensor bracket. The shop I go to cuts off part of the threaded end, adds a threaded coupler and then puts a bolt on top. I was there yesterday whenthey were lowering a CL55 about 1.5 inches this way. The cost for parts is very cheap but it still requires an alignment.

I'm thinking of dropping my dad's S500 Sport about 1 inch this way.
