Love hate relationship so far in 3 weeks

Its funny. I look at my ML and I have had 3 of them. 0 problems, 0. And the two S classes I had before that, again, 0 problems. Im feeling this S class is paying me back for all the trouble free ones I have owned, lol. But, im determined and steadfast on making everything perfect. I really like this S class, not sure why. Its not as fast as the 55 and my 430 was more stylish with the AMG wheels and stuff but I just really like this one. But seriously, in 3 weeks of ownership I have

Replaced Air Suspension control Module
Rewired Fiber optics to get radio, cd, lingautronic & everything working
Replaced upper nozzle on air shock front passenger
Replaced pump
Extensive cleaning and high speed waxing
Did the "stuck in park fix" in a parking lot, luckily next to sears for tools
Various fuses to get cigarette lighter and other gizmos to work
SRS light Fix
Got Rid of the Yellow tinted headlights(toothpaste fix)

So now, everything is good. well, except the side mirror flashers. Ill get them soon. This is not a car for the light walleted, or mechanically challenged individual. But ill say this. When I get items on the car fixed, and get behind the wheel, whatever was wrong, doesn't matter anymore

It was worth it

What was the SRS fix? I'm off to the Indie on Monday for an SRS light on issue.

I grabbed this from the sticky about the SRS light and take no credit for this fix. I had a can laying around of electrical cleaner and it was a miracle, it worked.

"You mention you have an SRS light that is on? I had an indie MB mechanic show me this trick. Go to radio shack and get some spray electronics parts cleaner with the little straw (about $10.00) With the car not running, spray the cleaner into the two front seatbelt latches then work the seatbelt metal ends in them. Spray inside again and then let them dry about 15 minutes. Apparently dirt gets in the belt latches and there are sensors in them that need to be cleaned occasionally. This is the most common cause of the dreaded SRS light coming one. It may be something else, however this fix is only $10.00.
When you start the car the light should come on for about 5 -10 seconds then go out. I used this method about 1 year ago and it is still working correctly."

I wanted to also add that I had this problem on my 2000 also. I use to have friends that use to sit way back in the seat. I moved the seat around and up some and the light finally went off. never moved the seat that far back again and light never came on again.
