Talking 220 and Iphone 5 resolved?... Not so fast.

The original complaint was that I was not heard when making a phone call from the car, my phone contacts always uploaded.

A few days ago after disconnecting the positive side of the battery the Iphone 5 was all joy even though my phone contacts were not uploaded there was two way Mic sound, and satisfactory to me so I celebrated. However, due to usual phone adapters' high battery drain I disconnected the adapter while the car was not in use.

Today, before going out I plugged the adapter again without disconnecting the car battery, all my phone contacts were uploaded, but only one way sound, the person I called did not hear me. Back to square one.... It’s an intermittent issue and harder to trace. Possibly loose Mic connector in the adapter ( I suppose).
If I only knew which is the Mic connector in the adapter in order to play with it !

This is exactly what my ml does with the cradle and puck. I folded a small Piece of paper and put it at the clip at the top between the phone so it's pushing down more on the connector plate. Worked ever since unless some idiot shoves some thing in my glove box and knock the puck and paper apart. Worth a try though

vmystikilv, hi again...

My connector has a rigid board/not flexible, if I tried to bend it to insert a wedge, it would break.

My issue is fully described above, however, the strange thing is, if I disconnect the positive side of the battery for a few minutes, the system resets and the phone works fine until I disconnect the adapter again. Since I don't drive the car often, leaving it connected would drain the battery completely.
