Due to rust issues I was thinking about replacing some items that are starting to rust instead of having a body shop do a repair job.

In this forum I read that there is a rust problem with all w220's made in 1999-2002.

The shops I spoke with can not guarantee the rust issues would never come back. I would hate to spend 3k & the issues comes back in 2 years.

Does anyone know if a 2003 trunk lid & front fenders will fit a 2000 S500?

My understanding is that the hood and font fenders changed in 2003. You would probably need to change the entire front clip.
