Questions about MP3 integration, side markers, and exhaust
Hey guys!
I'm a proud and new owner of a 2001 S430. I already started throwing some money at it.
I'm looking into these following things right now:
1. MP3 integration - having the CD changer in the back is such a pain! Is there a way to integrate a connection to a hard drive/usb/aux?
2. The yellow side markers are absolutely hideous, I tried looking for some black ones on ebay with no luck, does someone know of a site where I can buy those? Black, not clear please.
3. I am also looking into replacing or adding to those ****ty exhaust pipes that make me cringe. I was thinking of the S55 AMG exhaust kit, how much would those go for? Is it even worth it? Should I just get the tips or the whole exhaust system?
4. Not sure if this even exists, but are there fog lamps for the front bumper where the vents are? A link would be lovely. If there is no such thing, I'd like to purchase a pair of those vents since I am missing one.

Regarding the mp3 integration, I did look through the sticky thread and could only find posts related to later models (03+), had no luck finding a post about a 2001 S430. Would love a link though if it exists.

Try www.dension.com. Dension makes mp3 units for D2B equipped cars (which yours is). More at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/audi...ady-prime.html but be aware that much of that post deals with MOST bus units; D2B units are mentioned by exception. On the Dension site be SURE you check vehicle compatibility, and also keep in mind that installation is MUCH simpler for a D2B unit than for a MOST unit.
