Battery tender/charging recommendations
As the title states I am interested in battery tender/charger advice and opinions. I will be leaving out of town for five weeks. In the past the individual I left my keys to never started the car once. Obviously I returned to a dead car. Recently I had an electrical outlet installed in my garage near the trunk of the S. What are your preferences or recommendations by brand or what have you?

Any unit used to maintain a battery should have as low an output current as possible. This one is only 1.5A max. The unit is readily available and affordable. The name, 'Speed Charge', is a bit misleading as this unit charges slowly - which is what you want.
Cheers,
Jeff
