2002 Mercedes S430
Hi Everybody
I'm Osei (Osay) and I own a 2002 Merc Benz S430. The radio comes on but no sound also it says that I don't have a CD changer but I do. What's the problem. It seems this is a common occurence with these cars. What gives? Navigation has no sound as well.

You have to diagnose which component is bad and bypass it. My telephone module was shot and I unhooked it, minimized the fiber optic line, and it all works fine. Welcome , it actually a simple fix

Most likely the fiber optics connection under the CD changer unit.
Get the unit out, disconnect and reconnect the fiber optics line. It helped me, flawless ever since.
