Airconditioning compressor kick on
I have an S600 2001 only 60K miles.
My A/C is driving me crazy. when I start car it blows air but compressor do not kick start until I drive hardly for 2-3 miles after 15-20 min of drive it stops again.
I checked the errors it gave 1269 which I deleted but still the same or worse.
where is that bus multifunction sensor noting that I have checked the Freon r134a level 3 times in 3 different shops all confirmed it is right.
Any help please?

The compressor has no clutch, it runs full time. Regular AC shops checking pressure don't always know this. Search the forums.

If people ignorant of this feature try to test the ac the conventional way, they will get false results. Under some conditions, the system has to be reset for charging.
As others have indicated here, you should get the codes read; either with a DAS system, or from the ac control panel on the dash.
My thought at this moment is that it is overcharged.
